Working with families, hospices, hospitals, and funeral directors, I will travel to where your loved one is and mould your loved one's hand respectfully whilst maintaining dignity.
Losing a loved one can be a difficult time. However, capturing a memory in a hand casting is still possible. I am happy to work with funeral directors or midwives if you feel this would be easier than speaking to me directly.
Separate Casts Coming Together Forever
You may want to have a hand casting made of you and your loved one once they have passed but feel unable to attend the chapel of rest to do this. In this case, I can take a hand casting of your loved one, and then at a later date and when you feel ready I can mould your hand holding their cast. The finished piece would be a cast of your hands together.
When you lose a loved one it's hard to think about all the different options available which is why I always take a fingerprint while taking a hand casting. You will then have the option to have jewellery made using their fingerprint at a later date.
